For a dewy complexion that’ll actually last, look no further. I’d like to introduce you to a foundation that recently changed my life: Yves Saint Laurent’s flawless formulation, the NU BARE LOOK TINT Skin Tint Foundation. Infused with hyaluronic acid, this part-skincare, part-makeup melange is a perfectly lightweight—yet buildable!—long-wear foundation.

It doesn’t just give you a hydrated look— it actually hydrates your skin. YSL amps up this skin tint with glycerin and mallow (both of which are skin-soothing humectants that draw water into your skin) to moisturize and brighten your complexion. The end result is the fresh, natural, barely-there look, in part thanks to the skin-plumping properties of hyaluronic acid (aka derm’s favorite hydrating ingredient) and those other all-star actives.

Though it’s marketed for all skin types, it’s likely best for those with normal-to-dry skin. The water-cream texture promises to deliver “24-hour hydration,” and the formula melts seamlessly into my own dry complexion. That said, while the formula leaves a seriously dewy finish, it’s not greasy whatsoever. One Sephora reviewer reports, “I have pretty oily/acne-prone skin, and this foundation makes me glow all day long.”

On a long day of makeup testing, I finished off my look with Charlotte Tilbury’s iconic Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, and it lasted for a full twelve hours. There are 20 shades on offer, and despite always opting for a neutral shade, I found a cool tone to be particularly neutral—almost an identical color match for my face.

So in sum, it makes your skin bright and hydrated, is lightweight and buildable, gives you a flawless, radiant finish, and lasts virtually forever with a little setting spray. It’s ideal for the no-makeup makeup look, and if you aren’t running to Sephora right now, I don’t know what else to say.
